Welcome to Windhill21

Windhill21 is a welcoming and inclusive two-form entry primary school at the heart of Bishop's Stortford. As Headteacher, I am incredibly proud of our school, our dedicated staff, and most importantly, our wonderful children.

At Windhill21, we believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their very best. Through kindness, strong relationships, and high expectations, we create an environment where children are happy, confident, and able to thrive both academically and personally.

Our school has been recognised through two consecutive Outstanding Ofsted inspections, with inspectors highlighting the exceptional quality of education and experience we provide. While we are proud of this recognition, our focus remains firmly on ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

At the heart of our curriculum are our three curriculum drivers: knowledgeable learners, confident communicators and global citizens. Through carefully planned learning experiences and high-quality teaching, children develop the knowledge, character, and resilience needed to succeed in an ever-changing world. 

Partnership with parents and carers is central to everything we do. By working together, we create the very best opportunities for children to flourish both in school and beyond. We value open communication and strong relationships with families, recognising that a collaborative approach plays a vital role in supporting children's success, wellbeing, and personal development.
