Windhill21's KS2 Science Fair
Our Key Stage 2 Science Fair brought a buzz of curiosity and discovery to the halls, and I am still reeling from the sheer talent on display. From Years 3 through 6, our students stepped up as true young scientists, presenting projects that were thought-provoking, creative, and, most importantly, driven by genuine curiosity.
I want to start by saying a massive "well done" to every single student who participated. The level of effort was truly staggering, making my job as a judge nearly impossible. Walking through the fair, I saw a sea of impressive hypotheses, clear data collection, and amazing explanations.
While every entry was a credit to the school, eight projects stood out. Two winners were selected from each year group based on a few key factors. Their originality was clear as we looked for ideas that explored unique questions and showed their outstanding ideas. Their overall scientific design was also something to behold as these projects were beautifully constructed and clearly laid out. Finally, their overall dedication was evident to see where students had gone above and beyond, putting hours of investigation and passion into their work.
