Our Year 6 children had an unforgettable experience performing at the Young Voices concert at the O2. After an exciting afternoon rehearsal, where they were expertly guided and encouraged to sing out loudly and confidently, the children were fully prepared for the evening performance.

When it came time to perform, they sang with incredible energy and pride, confidently joining in with songs that had been memorised alongside thousands of children from school choirs all around them. The atmosphere was electric, and it was truly inspiring to see our pupils performing.

It was a very special evening and one that they will remember for many years to come. 

Our pupils had a fantastic time at this year’s Music Festival at South Mill Arts, with both Year 2 and Year 5 delivering truly memorable performances. Year 2 sang their hearts out with enthusiasm and pride, showing not only their musical talent but also what wonderful ambassadors they are for Windhill21 through their excellent behaviour. Year 5, performing alongside Summercroft, impressed the audience with powerful, emotional singing, and their confidence and teamwork shone through every song—clearly the result of dedicated rehearsals. We are incredibly proud of all the children who took part. A big thank you to the parents and carers who helped walk us to the venue safely, and to everyone who came along to support the event. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

On Saturday, a group of our amazing pupils from Windhill21 took part in the TCS Mini London Marathon — and what an unforgettable day it was! With the sun shining brightly and the streets of London buzzing with excitement, 40 children from Recep

World Book Day was another fantastic success! The "Guess the Reader" assembly and our Drop and Read event were both fun and engaging, sparking a love for reading across the school. We were also lucky to have an incredible author visit, which added to the excitement. Thank you for your support with the amazing costumes! Any money raised from 'Drop and Read' will go towards purchasing new books for our school libraries.

On Thursday our Year 6 Young Voices choir wowed us at the O2 where they sang with hundreds of primary schools from across the UK, singing a wide repertoire of songs from Bob Marley to Shakira! Star guests included MC Grammar, Tommy Blaize and Urban Strides. It was an incredible night and they sang their hearts out and made Windhill21 very proud. This will a be a wonderful memory for them for years to come!
